(April 23, 2012) I have some favorites among the performers who do or have played Vegas. One of them is the “Pitbull of Comedy” Bobby Slayton. Bobby will be in town this week, performing in the Napoleon Lounge at Paris this Thursday and Friday at 8:30 p.m. and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. And 9:30 p.m.

Following a residency at Hooters, Bobby left Las Vegas to give the rest of the country a chance to be challenged and insulted by the equal opportunity offender. This show is not for the faint of heart. Be aware, the language is raw. Bobby may pick on you if you are black. Then again he may pick on you because you are Caucasian, Asian, Catholic, Jewish, gay, straight. Basically, if you are there, you are fair game. If you don’t want to be the brunt of his take-no-prisoners humor, then stay as far away as possible, like across town perhaps. But if you love the politically incorrect hilarious form of comedy then grab a ticket to see this master at work!

This is no here today, gone tomorrow performer. Bobby’s been in the game for over 20 years and is one of the most respected and energetic comics working today. His one hour Showtime Special, Born To Be Bobby, will be out on DVD on April 27. He’s also had scene-stealing roles in movies including Get Shorty, Ed Wood, Bandits, and Dreamgirls. He’s been on dozens of TV shows including the Tonight Show and Politically Incorrect. No surprise there.
He was a series regular on the HBO series Mind of a Married Man, and played Joey Bishop opposite Ray Liotta and Joe Mantegna in the critically acclaimed film The Rat Pack. Blah blah blah with the credentials. Just go see Bobby because he is f***ing funny.

Tickets start at $39.99 can be obtained through Paris Box Office 702-777-7776 or through their web site at www.parislasvegas.com
