Benny Benassi


Benny Benassi July 13, 1967) is a Grammy Award winning Italian DJ and producer of electro house music. He is best known for his 2002 summer club hit “Satisfaction”. On October 28, 2009, DJ Magazine announced the results of their annual Top 100 DJ Poll, with Ultra Records artist Benny Benassi placed #26. In 2005, Benassi founded the record label known as Pump-Kin Music. The focus of the label is primarily new and unsigned producers. Through this venture, he hopes to give exposure to some of the lesser known DJ/production talent across the world.

In August 2007, Benassi released a remix of Public Enemy’s “Bring the Noise”. The video for the track was created by Eclectic Method featuring a montage of live footage from Public Enemy, the video was premiered on In February 2008 “Bring the Noise” won a Grammy for best Remix (Dance). His album Rock ‘n’ Rave was released on June 16, 2008. The first single from the album was “I Am Not Drunk.”
Benassi also broadcasts a one hour long radio show titled ‘The Benny Benassi Show’ on Sirius XM Radio’s channel Area. In 2010 Benassi released “Electro Sixteen” a video for Benny Benassi vs. “Iggy Pop”, “Electro Sixteen,” out now on Ultra Records, an experimental music video featuring more than 15,000 photographs from his DJ set at New York’s Electric Zoo Festival, the video was premiered on[4] Benassi is featured on the track “Beautiful People” off Chris Brown’s latest album, F.A.M.E.
On June 7th Benny Benassi released a new album named “Electroman”, which includes several singles like “Cinema”, “Electroman”, “Spaceship” and “Control”. He also makes frequent DJ appearances in Las Vegas every year at the hottest clubs in town.
